The 5th Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting of the Ecosystem Conservation and Management Project was held on the 15th of May, 2018 at the Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment, “Sobadam Piyasa” Conference Room in Battaramulla.
The PSC meeting was co-chaired by the Additional Secretary of the Environment Projects and Education Training, Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment (MoMDE); and the Secretary of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Wildlife. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the progress of the project implementation of the 1st quarter, progress of the field implementation of 2018 action plan and pending issues and discuss and obtain approval for the two training plans of the implementing agencies.
