An Integrated Donor Approach on Community Development in Knuckles Area ….
A workshop was conducted in the Knuckles Forest Reserve with participation development partners – UNDP, ESCAMP and representatives from NGOs, CSOs, who are actively engaged in community development programs in villages in the periphery of Knuckles Conservation Forest. The workshop was held on 7 June 2019 at the Knuckles Information Center, Pitavalapathana, Illukkumbura.
Training Facilities To Improve In Inamaluwa Training Center
An agreement was signed on 2nd July 2019 with M/s. Kanola Construction and Engineering Company to improve the facilities of Inamaluwa forest field Training Center. This will provide practical training facilities that are needed for the field staff of the forest Department. In addition, this will be used to provide filed training for all other relevant people
