The Implementation Support Workshop for the Forest Department was held on the 16th and 17th of November 2017, at the Jie-Jie Beach Hotel, Panadura.
The workshop focussed on the Project progress during 2017 and the Action Plan for 2018 of the Project sites under the Forest Department. During the workshop the Divisional Forest Officers (DFOs) of the relevant Project sites emphasized the current status of project implementation, and the issues and constrains encountered during the past ten-month period. Further an overview of the financial performance of the Forest Department was presented for the period 1st March 2017- 31st October 2017.
