A Nature-Based Tourism Planning Meeting was held in view of implementing nature-based tourism strategies for the Knuckles Conservation Forest on July 30, 2018 at the Saptha Parisara Mandapaya in Battaramulla. Participants comprised of Officers from the Forest Department, World Bank, and personnel involved in the hotel industry. The Meeting was conducted by world renown Sustainable Tourism Consultant Matthew Humke of US.
