A Stakeholder Awareness Workshop on Pilot Landscape Planning and Management in Hurulu-Kawdulla-Kanthale Complex (Lower Mahawelli Region), Dry Zone was conducted on the 23rd of February 2018 at the JKAB Hotel in Trincomalee.
The objective of the Workshop was to create awareness on landscape management planning among stake holders in Trincomalee District.
Representatives of many key Government Institutions including District Planning Officers, Divisional Secretaries, Military Officers, Forest officers, Wild Life officers, Irrigation Engineers and officers of Road Development Authority, Education Department, Coconut Development Authority, Cashew Corporation, and NGOs attended the Workshop.
