The World Bank Mission undertook the 3rd Implementation Support and Additional Financial Preparation Mission from November 15th – 29th, 2017 for the Ecosystem Conservation and Management Project (ESCAMP). The Wrap-up Meeting of this Mission was held on the 28th of November, 2017 at the conference hall of the Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment. The meeting was co-chaired by the Secretary of the Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment, and the Secretary of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Wildlife. The mission programme that comprised of meetings and training related to the project concluded successfully with the Wrap-up Meeting addressing issues concerning ESCAMP and the two implementing Agencies, the Forest Department and the Department of Wildlife Conservation.
